12/7/14 Little River and Burlington Bay

Snow makes Vermont even more beautiful than normal.
Sal was glad for a trail run in the snow.
So powdery and beautiful.
After that I got ambitious and went kayaking,
The winds were 20-35 mph and the water around 38 degrees.  It mean that at the end my kayak was covered in ice.
Completely covered and the deck lines frozen into shape.

11/28/14 Burlington Bay

Because I am crazy snow does not stop me from kayaking.
It was not warm... I wear a wetsuit but that water is under 40 degrees at this point.

11/1/14 Delta Park

It is surreal how low the water is at this point.  Delta had a new continent.
This is normally foot or more under water.
I had to drag the kayak to a place where I could actually launch it.  The winds were so strong that it was bounce the kayak around behind me as I went along, hence the crooked track.

10/13/14 Burlington Bay

Seriously love the sunsets here.

10/6/14 Night Kayaking in Burlington Bay

What do you get when you go kayaking under a full moon?
Not brilliant conditions for photos...

10/3/14 Camels Hump and Burlington Bay

For the first time in a while I decided to take Sal up Camel's Hump.
I do enjoy this mountain.
And Sal seems to agree.
1992 is old now, right?
Pretty river in the fall.
First viewpoint.  The fall here is amazing.
Sal was only moderately impressed.
Such an amazing view.
We were far from alone on the peak.  Lots of people had done the climb for that same view.
Sal was a bit intrigued by this lab in the distance,
A pano from the top.
What you have to climb to get up there
Looking south on the decent.
This was a makeshift boiler at some point.
Afterwards I met up with Patti and did a sunset paddle.

10/2/14 Delta Park

I had to go back out for another setting sun.
As always, so stunning.

9/28/14 Burlington Bay

Patti and I went out for another sunset kayaking trip in Burlington Bay
It was a pretty amazing setting sun.  One of the many reason that I love this state.

9/20/14 CAT Trail and Delta Park

It was a busy day.  First off to the CAT trail to exercise Sal.
Sal may have been a bit happy with all the running and freedom.
A fascinating leave that was kind translucent.
This was one determined caterpillar.   Had a sense of occasion.
And it is very much berry season.  I love running and eating these as I go along.
Some sort of mushroom.  There are a lot out there.
And wild grapes are everywhere.
Then off to Delta to play in the waves.
The winds were not that strong but enough to play a little.
And the only time I could take a picture is when I was beached.

9/7/14 Honey Hollow and Delta

Finally they are putting in the are building the road back to its pre-Irene condition.
This is someone's front lawn.  It is good to be the king.  Of course they have to drive down that road in the winter.
Pretty little stream...
Afterwards I went kayaking.
Calm warm water
Delta was welcoming as always.
and a tad shallow
Always good to take a break.
