Whenever I need to get out this is more than often the default. It is close, usually not too crowded and a comfortable trail run.
And I park right here overlooking this view. Not bad.It is hunting season here in Vermont so Sal is dressed to impress.
You can see so far with the leaves down.
Little River was a community before the dam was built. Scattered throughout are foundations from the 1800s farms and this cemetery with gravestones from before the Civil War.
Another house foundation, this one from around 1870. The tree was not impressed.
Almost just starting to get tired.
There are also VAST trails, i.e. snowmobile trails, throughout. These are some of their signs.
Pretty little stream, very cold water.
