8/23-8/24 Montreal and Sailing

I took a long weekend and headed up to Montreal for a couple of days with Patti.  First stop on the way to stay with family friends was the botanical garden.
The Chinese section was all decked out.
There were all these paper boats that apparently light up at night.
Pagodas are always enjoyable.
Patti with the strangest collection of Chinese and modern architecture.
Some of the gardens were more modern.  This was themed around clocks.
Such a striking blue....
I have no idea what kind of tree these are.  I loved their shape.
The bonsai collection is impressive in its age.  One was over 200 years old.
These guys so wanted to get petted...
The most amazing chapel.
The next day we went out to Francine and Bernard's boat for a little sailing.
There was no wind but it was a blast anyways.
A great way to spend the weekend.
